Just wondering if the highway from Ballina through Bangalow to the bottom of the hill is finished yet???

Any locals or GN's been through there recently.

Surely someone has traveled the Pacific Hwy between Tweed Heads and Ballina recently.
I was up there 8 months ago and the road works were progressing really fast and I was hoping it would be finished by May 2014 when we head north again.

I've been waiting with bated breath for that section of highway to be finished too!

According to Roads and Marine / Road Projects website, the Tintinbar to Ewingsdale section is expected to be completed in the second half of 2014 (weather permitting) - a specific date has not been mentioned.

Went thru about a week ago, and still plenty of roadworks.Good south of there, but nth of border was huge traffic jam, from Palmbeach to Logan.Go west if you can. Bill
