NSW how much water in lakes and rivers in NSW?

Hi there - we are intending on hitting the road again in the next couple of weeks spending a few months travelling and staying at various places around NSW including the Murray River camps. Can anyone tell what the conditions are in respect of viable canoeing/fishing places. I know last year the was very little water in lakes, rivers west of the Burnett Highway. Our intention this time is to travel NSW until it starts to get too cool and then head north for Qld outback again.

Many thanks

Chaslib
if you google state water nsw you should be able to see the dam levels around the state

I know that chaffey is down to <80%, split rock dam is 20%, keepit is very low and dropping, Burrendong from memory was around 16%

see how you go with the website

The Murray is fine - have seen it from Jingellic to Howlong and plenty of water with heavy rain forecast for the weekend.

Thanks Frank - great info on that site .....  definitely worth looking there when deciding on the route ..... nothing's worse than a dry or almost dry and muddy riverbed to wake up to.   Will check the corresponding other states websites for their river and dam levels also when venturing across borders.

Thanks to everyone else for their input also.

Cheers
