Unless they have changed their attitude, this is an absolute waste of time. We went there in 2012 and unless you were buying a caravan, the majority of the dealers totally ignored you.

We worked there last year. Hope we get more time to have a wander around this year. My cousin was one of the seminar speakers and I didn't get to catch up with him so hoping to do so this year.

I don't know why Vic but I never go to the 4 x 4 or boat show. May I'll give them a go this year to find out what I've been missing.

A lot of duplicated stuff Bryan, I have been to a couple.

Much prefer the Caravan and Camping show, they have a lot more on show.  Been to a few and really enjoyed it, lots of walking though especially if hot, but not too bad inside the pavilions.

Fairly good Bryan, although I haven't been on weekends, they have traffic marshals and several entries and they guide you in etc, it is in the grounds of the showgrounds and is $5 per car (used to be free).   See this link;

 http://caravanandcampingshow.com.au/visitor-info/travel-parking/

"Will there be queues to get into the car park?
The Royal Agricultural Society WA manages the car parking, as owners of the venue they can fit more cars in than anyone! Parking onsite and in the Ashton triangle is $5 per car, have the right money available to keep delays to a minimum. Car park attendants will direct you to a space, please remain patient during peak times when traffic will become congested."

So add the parking cost to your entry fees which are paid at an inside gate near the show, see prices;

 http://caravanandcampingshow.com.au/tickets/

This is the general link to the show showing more info;

Bryan, the food they sell there is crap, try to take your own, but you have to carry it around with you, don't think they have a pass out system, I could be wrong about that.

 in that case you can take your own lunch and leave it in the fridge in the car, not only is the food crap you see people lining up for a very long while, if you need to go to the toilet go early cos the lines there are also long

 I would think it would be very hard to park if taking a camper, not sure they would let you park there, they want you to buy one there biggrinbiggrin

I've seen motor homes parked in the parking area Bryan, if you come in the Ashton Road entrance that takes you down to a large flat parking area on grass (the marshals will point the way) which is larger than coming into the fairly small Graylands Road entry parking area.

Best come down Ashton Road from the northern end although it has a fly over the rail line, if you take the wrong turn at that end there is a subway and I don't know the clearance.

Here is a small map shown on the show links;

http://caravanandcampingshow.com.au/visitor-info/where/
