Coaster owners

   It's now been a week and about 1000 kms since having the diesel pump diaphragm replaced. And what a difference,  the engine now idles correctly and the difference in power especially going uphill is noticeable.

    So any Coaster owners experiencing similar engine issues, get that part replaced.

    The replacement diaphragm is only $44:00, but replacement takes about 5 hours, so looking at about $400:00 total.

I've retired my Coaster for now. Once it is relocated to my parent's place I will look at the viability of giving it a new lease of life, the main issue is rust.
So there may be a cheap Coaster on eBay in the coming months!

If anyone is chasing a couple of spare wheels and tyres for a Coaster,
I have a couple sitting in the back yard, they came off the old 77 model I had,
since moved on to a new owner ( Thank God )
The tyres aren't that flash but would probably get you out of strife ok.
$ 20.00 for both.
Send me an email if interested.
