All Good in Longford Tasmania

Hi gang just a quick update again, all is good in Longford Tasmania especially now the wind has stopped blowing. Easy day today went for a drive to Evandale to check out the place for tomorrow for the penny farthing races. Riders were already there getting in practice on the course which is through town. Arrived home for happy hour and organised 2 dozen oysters killpatrick which I did on the Q yummobiggrinbiggrin then followed up with curried scallop pies also reheated on the Q another yummo biggrin. So all is good guys will update again soon.

Shut the front gate!!

How unfair is that. First you send me a TXT with a pic of those oysters then you post a pic on here knowing I will see it again. Some mate you are C1 smile I am pretty sure C2 wouldn't do that to me confusesmile

They look yummy indeed mate and I tell you that for free. What have you got them sitting in Garry? I also noticed you didn't have foil under the trivet.

I can only get the Pacific Oyster from the supermarket here at Base Camp and they never look fresh. I love the Tassie Oyster.

I hope you enjoy the race Saturday and the rest of your time in Tassie C1,2,4&5.

Poor little C3 is at home crying for you mate smile

Bloody hell Mate. You sure know how to make someone jealous. I hope you feel just a little bit sorry for us who are to far away to enjoy them just yet. We are working on it

Good thing I'm not partial to oysters or lobster but I do love the pic of the penny farthings. What would you call them in today's money... 25s? Doesn't seem the same. In any case, glad to hear you're making the most of Tassie, C1.

Sounds like you are having a great time. Not partial to oysters BUT Scallops I am drooling at the thought of some nice fresh ones. My convict ancestors settled in Longford, Evandale in the late 1880's. Another place on my bucket list when my travelling days begin.
