Arrived today in Bendigo really hot for this Tassie Couple. Told that it will be even hotter Tomorrow. Hoping to catch the Talking Tram tour in the Morning then any suggestions.smilesmile

You picked a hot time to venture over to Victoria, we are setting some new records this year already.

I just got back from Tassie last night after having a great visit.

If you are into alternative camping why not slip upto Greens Lake (FREE) there is a thread that will give you where and how.

Try the R,S,L,near the show grounds for lunch ,then a walk around the lake (Weeroona) then on to the botanical gardens at White Hills (3 min drive ) cheers Peter.

hi there in bendigo , we just left there are now on the road were there 14 yrs the last 2 summers were what we dubbed good old summers here summer was always 100.f in the shade
our best place of cool was the last few years at lake eppalock , i think you can still camp around the foreshore

Thanks for all the replies. Beautiful Place we will definitely be back. Yes it is a Hot time to visit but what can you do when you are told to take leave.
