Hi all. Any fellow GN's heading north now, or shortly, are advised to check road conditions ahead as we currently have several highway closures due to flooding and with the weather patterns being crazily erratic up here it may not improve quickly. Take care. Cheers.

Hi all. Anyone travelling to Townsville in the near future should pull up short and relax for a couple of days as chaos reigns supreme as I write this. Up to 15 inches--450mm has fallen in parts of the area in the last 2 days and its not over yet with more rain forecast. Multiple road closures in place. Plenty of places to lay up for a while in areas not affected. Cheers.
