Anyone familiar with the Earhart saga knows that in 1987 the Republic of the Marshall Islands issued a set of four commemorative stamps and envelope covers in honor of the fiftieth anniversary of Amelias crash-landing off Barre Island, in the northwest section of Mili Atoll, on July 2, 1937.
Amelia Mary Earhart was an American aviation pioneer and author. Earhart was the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. She received the U.S. Distinguished Flying Cross for this accomplishment. She set many other records, wrote best-selling books about her flying experiences.
Some bones discovered on an island in the Pacific in 1940 are likely those of Amelia Earhart according to new research out recently. She was a legendary aviator that disappeared on an around-the-world flight attempt.
A photograph appearing in a new documentary is being touted as possible proof that famed American aviator Amelia Earhart and her navigator, Fred Noonan, may have survived the crash landing of their final flight more than 80 years ago.
Over to you Jules....

Before he started using the alias "William Bonney", McCarty's first arrest was for stealing food in late 1875, and within five months he was arrested for stealing clothing and firearms. Two days later, he escaped from jail and fled from New Mexico Territory into the neighboring Arizona Territory, making him both an outlaw and a federal fugitive. After murdering a blacksmith during an altercation in August 1877, Bonney became a wanted man in Arizona Territory and returned to New Mexico, where he joined a group of cattle rustlers. He became a well-known figure in the region when he joined the Regulators and took part in the Lincoln County War. In April 1878, the Regulators killed three men, including Lincoln County Sheriff William J. Brady and one of his deputies. Bonney and two other Regulators were later charged with killing all three men.
Bonney's notoriety grew in December 1880 when the Las Vegas Gazette in Las Vegas, New Mexico, and The Sun in New York City carried stories about his crimes.[4] Sheriff Pat Garrett captured Bonney later that month. In April 1881, Bonney was tried and convicted of the murder of Brady, and was sentenced to hang in May of that year. He escaped from jail on April 28, 1881, killing two sheriff's deputies in the process and evading capture for more than two months. Garrett shot and killed Bonneyaged 21in Fort Sumner on July 14, 1881. During the following decades, legends that Bonney had survived that night grew, and a number of men claimed to be him.[5]
Sheba, I think there is an error in the URL you posted. It shows 2 different photos of Billy the Kid. Billy was 21 when killed, Jesse was 34. I truly believe the picture you posted is Jesse James. Also the Post by john, Rockylizard is quite convincing. Sheba, why don't you post another picture and we'll start again.
Did you really look at the link properly ? About halfway down it has the Pic. I posted, plus the words "Here is a portrait of Billy the Kid, holding his revolver, with two other guns in his waistband."
Also the [I think] Eyebrows, Nose, Ears, and Chin are identical.
Not in a position to post another Pic. tonight, so please go ahead Jules.
This is Jesse James.
Cheers,
Sheba.
