New comers

Hello everyone...we are just about finished our project and hopefully we will get underway by end of February 14. We are building a fully self sufficient motor home (I hope) we are using the Isuzu NPS250/300 4x4 single cab. We are building a custom body to suit.

The unit will have 2 x 220w solar panels, 9000w pure sinewave inverter, 4.4 KVA pure sinewave genney and a swag of other bits and pieces which I will expand on another time.

Here are a couple of photos to start with...

That's great, at least you'll get what you want and have it done properly! Looking forward to see the finished results.

Thanks guys there is a LOT MORE to it than it appears on the surface I would strongly recommend that if anyone is considering designing and building their own motor home from scratch that you make sure you do your research thoroughly and make sure you cost out everything including the "little" things because it will all add up at the end of the day..but you know what I think it is all worth it knowing that in the not too distant future we will fire the old girl up and we will be off on our maiden adventure of a lifetime and looking forward to meeting up on the road...

Jeez, talk about starting from scratch! Must be very satisfying though, to know every nail and every rivet. In fact, your adventure started the day you began drawing up the plans. I admire your dedication! Good luck!

Won't be long now till you can change your name from ''mainworry''....to ''Noworry''...lol

Looks like you have done a great job and using a great ''TUG'' as well....Hard to beat an ISUZU.

Cheers
