Yes, but you may not like having to be on this one;

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2011-11-28/woman-27imprisoned27-on-scientology-cruise-ship/3700390

St George Rugby fans will like the happy ending! smile

PS:  Please treat this as a story about life semi permanently on board a ship and not a religious debate (otherwise the Webmaster will close the thread, religion posts, race or politics against forum rules.)

Could life on board ships be a reality?   Rising seal levels etc......Freehazzas take on a modern Ark ?????

On the floating City, the mind boggles, retirement units, floating prisons, world offshore refugee processing ???????

Hhhmmm an all inclusive retirement village, 5 star of course could be pretty cool. No need for funeral costs, just comened their body to the sea.

Nothing like living in a packed sardine can, yuck what a horrible existence.

 A bit more primitive though Neil! LOL ! (good acting by Kevin Costner though)

See this link on the pro's and con's of Cruise Ship living etc;

http://www.aplaceformom.com/blog/2013-2-2-cruise-ship-retirement-assisted-living/

Also, what if the ship has to remain in a Port for maintenance or repairs, wouldn't passengers have to disembark if services/aircon etc had to be closed down ??????

 When ships are in port for maintenance or anything which requires them to shut down generators and engines, they connect to the local grid and that maintains all the required equipment.
