This morning using the dump point in CP, the person before had left it filthy. Over the weekend have noticed toilets not being flushed or cleaned after use!!!
So my question of the day is........ Would there be a correlation between the said people using the dump point and not hosing down and perhaps those same people not knowing how to flush and clean a toilet. I think it would worthy of a govt. grant to do a study on this dilemma, that if course would have to include numerous oversea trips to complete the study.
Now ow I don't want to point fingers, however to me it seems to be the weekend warriors that could be the culprits. In the 2 weeks of being here with gn's no problems.

I think you're right, Shekon. Day trippers and weekend warriors are not as aware of cleanliness and respect for others as GNs who are on the road all the time and far more conscious of their responsibilities. Not sure what can be done about it though. Lead by example?
I saw a mother supervising her 5 or 6 yr old child who was defecating on the pathway about 3 meters from a public toilet (clean, vacant). When the kid finished I asked her was she going to clean it up so people could walk on the path without stepping in it, and she gave me a "Look", walked back and got in the car with her son and drove off. I cleaned it myself as you would after a dog.
It was a weekend, they looked like day-trippers. You're right Shekon.
I would still speak to people if you catch them doing this, maybe it will help sometimes.
You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink Gary, I sometimes wonder what their house/flat interiors look like. Nomads, as said, have more appreciation for what we're given by councils/Gov's. than others are. Unfortunate but true.

No, I'm not busy, I did it right the first time.
Self-powered wheelie walker, soon a power chair (ex. Nomad)
You do really wonder how some people live in their own homes, when you see the mess they leave behind at camp sites, and yes even in caravan parks!!! Mud walked into shower cubicles, mop outside, but would they use it - no of course not!!!
Drink cans thrown into a fire - do they not know that aluminium doesn't really burn away? And one such fire/mess was left less than 25m from a huge rubbish skip!!!
After New Years Eve at Greens Lake there were armchairs, lounges, carpet - lots of general mess, and a huge piece of black plastic sheeting, used for making a water slide on the lake bank! Some guys grabbed that next day, to take home and put to a good use! Couple of the lounge chairs ended up at someone's camp, nice and comfy!!! The long term campers cleaned up what was left, and the GM Water guys were happy with the state of the place.
Someone had actually tried to flush a towel, yes a towel, down the men's toilet!!!! One of the campers donned gloves, held his breath and got it out - cleaned the toilets while he was at it - good on him, I say!
