Yes that's right folks we have arrived in Tassie safe and sound. good to catch up with Dougwe on the way over as well and hopefully, will catch up with him again if time allows. currently at Latrobe camping behind the IGA great spot and can I say, it looks as if Tassie can do with a drop of rain (hope I don't jinks myself ) anyway as time goes on will update and hopefully get a few pictures up as well. Take care out in the playground.
Yes Reg a bit lumpy leaving Melbourne but once under way it was a very smooth sail. was supposed to be a 9am sail but got under way at 8:30 and arrived at 6pm.
Reglynn, I hope you waved us goodbye cos we waved to you then. Actually we just waved, who cares who too.
We had a great sail once on the open seas and the 9.5 hrs when reasonably quick and the company for the journey was excellent. It was great to see Garry and Roxanne again and meet Garry's mum and dad as well.
Food wasn't too bad and surprising, not over priced. The other thing I noticed was that now I know what it is like to feel drunk without being drunk, must have been a Clayton's drunk?
Just sitting on the balcony here at my brothers place in Devonport and watched the good ship "Spirit" heading out, we are that close.
I will head down to the water edge one night as she comes in cos you are that close you could shake hands with the captain.
Keep Safe all in Tassie (and elswhere)
