We needed to replace the struts on our bed in the van. We went to ARB in Bunbury (WA), they got in what we needed, we replaced them our selves. $110.00 all up, including freight.

Struts under the bonnet of the Nissan were also replaced. We contacted Sprint Auto in Two Wells (SA), they got in what we needed, and we replaced them our selves. Cost approx. $100.00.

Where am I going with this, as we are permanently on the road, we try to do as much of our own repairs on the road.  Where we can save money, we will and do.

(No offence intended to Legendts, he has quoted a good company)

All these recommendations are good to hear and well worth keeping..

There are lots of companies out there that are willing to help and it is worth knowing about them no matter what they sell or procure for you..

No offence taken Dunmowin. Good to know about others too.

Do all my own maintenance too, cheaper and you know the jobs done right

Just back from shutties fasteners to replace front boot struts. Thx for the tip Jeff, really good service. Next will be adding the ranger  tailgate strut kit that they make, a huge improvement.
