We are currently staying  at a lovely little park about 50 k from Warranambool, Terang Caravan Park, $20 per night or 7 nights for $100, works out at around $14 per night.

We had been camped at Meridth Park, free camp on Lake Colac, beautiful there too, but decided to head for power with the forecast of temperatures in the 40's for the coming week.

Park amenities are clean, we received a warm welcome and are camped on lush green maintained grass. Great value for money, and far more pleasant than the crowded beach resorts that charge top dollar at this time of year.

thanks barbara ,were heading that way next mth ,mums in warrnambool so will base camp there and go in to see her , sounds good
