There are some in NSW too saw one on the Western Freeway recently with wardrobe on roof roped through the inside of the car with windows down and doors on top not locked or secured and one open for a short time before it ended up on the road lucky no one hit it.

I was passed by a car on the "Perth" Mitchell Freeway a few years ago with a Double Mattress on the roof. Tied on across it's middle trough the windows, with what looked like a string. The lady was motoring in the heavy 5 pm traffic, in a rush the way she was cutting in and out. The Mattress Ski'd up at the front in the slipstream off the windscreen. Just like a big surf board.
Well about 30 minutes later in the stalled crawling traffic over the Narrows Bridge There was a huge amount of Springs, Foam Rubber, and Mattress material, spread all over the three, or is it four, South bound lanes. A forlorn bemused lady standing on the hard shoulder and the car "minus mattress" parked about 200 metres further on.
The String still dangling from the rear door windows.
How are these last two posts relevant to the original Post ? Or am I missing something here ?
Cheers,
Sheba.
I'm with you on this one Sheba, I want some of what these guys are on. Perhaps they think the fossil fell off a car and that's how she came to find it.
I had to laugh reading the comments below the news story in the OP. It is amazing to realise there are such numnuts around.
Cheers Neil
