Had a drive there about a week ago....plenty of room. In fact, have been travelling around Victoria a little and not too much problem finding almost empty rest stops. Would highly recommend Psyche Pumps near Mildura for free camping. Lovely spot but very hot there at the moment. Our thermometer said 46.8 in the sun there so we moved to Euston Riverside caravan park for a powered site. Would thoroughly recommend here too! Locals are great and seems we could probably get work if we so desire....hmmm...do we desire at the moment?? :) Will definitely come back here as we got on really well with the locals in caravan park!

Thanks for that very quick reply! Yes, it is going to be hot everywhere for a little while, but we are lucky that this is Victoria, as it can often be four seasons in a day!

have fun and happy travels.

Marnie - haven't been there, but you should be right - will be hot - but as I have been telling some of the Queenslanders I have been camping with recently - at least in Victoria, you get a change of weather, sometimes four times in one day, but it makes it interesting!!!!

Hi I live in the Ararat Region and have to go past it when I go into town and quite often pull in to have a look at how many are camped there so at the moment there is plenty of room there under the trees and at the waters edge so enjoy the stay there.

Regards

Don

Thanks Don! We like Green Hill Lake. Great place to camp.

as Jules said in the last post, it is in Victoria- so we can get all sorts of weather in just one day!

have a great day,

cheers,

Marnie
