Been travelling around Victoria and the outskirts of NSW.....
Loved it near Mildura. Spent a couple of nights at a great spot on the river called Psyche Bends... Beautiful watching the houseboats going up and down the river. Had to up camp today as the thermometer got to 46.8!!!!
decided to pay the money and get some reprieve with the air con! Camped in lovely caravan park on the river in Euston, NSW. Will hang here for a few days and then head back to Pomonal to leave the van while we fly off to Nz to see the kids!
Its going to get hot out there... Take care and drink lots of water!
I'm heading to my sons in Geelong by Sunday to avoid the increasing heat. 42, 43 deg forecast for this area from Monday.
Kaniva - Bordertown, not sure of the heat but must be in high 30s already.
Launceston not looking good. 29 today with forecast temperatures next week in early 30s with 35 forecast for Wednesday. Not as hot as some people are experiencing but very high for Tassie...

Since light travels faster than sound, some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
Going to be hot hot hot in the Wimmera area. Going to stay put in the Edenhope CP for a few days, to outwait the worse of it. I really dont like this type of weather as it seems to bring out the crazies with their matches and fire lighters.
Only 28 here today but warming up during the week, as with the whole country. Still it is Summer so to be expected.

Hi, my goodness. you are all having a hot spell. We had a few last week but today there is a gentle breeze and it is a lot cooler. yesterday would have been 27 to 29 I guess.
January is always a very hot month for Victoria giving us a lot of 40s.
Made it to Cavendish not far from Hamilton. I don't know the temp but know it's extremely hot.
Was 48.9 on the shady verandah at Woodridge (north of Perth) at 2pm.Got the sprinklers going in the chook house and alpaca yard. Kevin the kangaroo is lying directly under the aircon vent snoring his little head off!!
Out here at little old Wagin, in the courtyard, on the southern side of the house where we are pet-sitting, it reached 47.9. We had the aircon and the fans on in the house, and sat and watched FOXTEL all day, in a room that is bigger than our caravan. Had the air-con buzzing away in the van, so that when we came back tuit, it was bearable...
