Watched a program called "most dangerous airports in the world" and there was an airfield near Mt. Everest that ends in a rock wall. Gets hairy in fog. Was funded by Sir Edmond Hillary as its the start of climb to the 1st. base camp (if memory serves) as well as helping locals.
