Since leaving Green's Lake, made the huge trip to Echuca (spent three days there camped next to Di & Kev, no foreknowledge on either side, but great to continue the friendship forged at Green's). While checking out the port before a paddle steamer ride, Sandra met an old workmate &family from Condobolin - small world. On leaving Echuca en-route to Nyah recreation ground, pulled up at Swan Hill for supplies. It happened again, Sandra met another ex workmate & her husband from Condobolin (also holidaying), even smaller world. They informed us that they were heading to Mildura to meet Sandra's brother & his wife (again from Condobolin) so after only one night at Nyah we carried through to Mildura, booking in to the Buronga Riverside Caravan Park which we cannot recommend highly enough. We had already booked the ute in for a service with Mildura Mazda on Friday but decided to arrive early to spend time with the Condo crowd. Pic is of the sunset from our van site looking over the Murray towards Mildura.
Darrel and Sandra - enjoy Mildura - heaps to see and do - you should see the sunrise over the river on a day that is going to be a scorcher!!!! Spectacular!

Really nice place John, well worth paying for. We'll be heading north again before too much longer intending to have a break at Waruma again before heading for Townsville then across the top during winter. Will post regularly & perhaps can meet again.
