You can navigate to a site 2 different ways.

You can tap a site on the MAP screen and then tap the NAVIGATE button on the pop up box or you can view the SITE DETAILS page and tap the NAVIGATE icon on the top green tool bar.

Trouble is my pop up screen won't let me do that, at least for me anyway.

Which operating system do you have (iOs or Android?). There are two different versions that need to be downloaded as apps.

i use an IPad and that may be the problem as I have forgotten my Apple ID so can't download the app, I have no idea how to find or change my Apple password?

Try these, or maybe find an apple shop and ask the guys in there, I think you may need your original password to get into change it, but the shop maybe able to help, they may not help if they think you have stolen the iPad and just want to gt into it, that is why I think you may still want the password.
