Will be taking the top off a good red, watch "Dinner For One" on SBS (the funniest bit of comedy ever staged) and will be in bed before the fireworks... well the one's outside the bedroom anyway.

As in the past years, I'll reach across and grab the missus on the bum and she'll yell "G'out!"

I keep telling her red wine doesn't give you gout in the bum, but each new years eve she seems to come down with it. Got me buggered.
