We had planned on getting all our mail sent to my daughters place. Then she can open the mail and ring, or email us if it's important. But we are slowly getting most of our mail delivered electronically, so there won't be hardly any snail mail.

Welcome to the forum, Clbn. This has been discussed a number of times previously here. try searching the site using the search function in the centre of the menu bar at the top of the page. Try mail first and work your way from there.

Most mail today is delivered electronically. Even Centrelink !! One of the Australian Banks I deal with still post a Statement each month. I called them one time and inquired why they don't send Statements online. I forget the stupid reason they gave. Every month I don't even open the envelope, it goes straight into the shredder !! Even my Philippine Bank is online so if a Third World Country can do it, why can't the Aussies !! Most mail in my letterbox is junk. My suggestion is contact all those Banks, Businesses, friends that send you snail mail and tell them you want your mail sent via e-mail. You can do this online with Centrelink and the major banks. If you find you do need mail delivery, Google will be a big help !!
