Good morning. We are looking to replace the van lights with LED, but, one bed light we have is led & if we turn it on while TV on the TV freezes- eveytime. Any comments please?
If you shield the LED so that its light doesn't get to the TV, or if you cover the TV's infrared remote sensor with black tape, does the TV still freeze? If not, then this would suggest that the LED is swamping the TV's remote control input.
If you cover the LED with aluminium foil, does this stop the interference? If so, and if you have eliminated any IR issue, then you have an RFI problem.

Dorian Gray is an Oscar Wilde character who remains young while his portrait in the attic grows old. He lives his life like a sociopathic hedonist. That is, if it feels good, he does it, without regard for how it affects others, particularly women. I'm actually the complete opposite, but I often think that it would have been better if I had lived my life selfishly and ruthlessly. People would have hated me, but at least they would have respected me. Believe me, nice guys really do finish last.

Back to the LED lights.
I have the same trouble Oma, and even the gang at CabCar didn't really help.
A lot of theoretical guessing, but unless you wish to part with many dollars to investigate........................

We don't think that TV is that important.
Interference can be a difficult thing to troubleshoot in the workshop. Often the problem cannot be replicated because the conditions are different. You have to do as much as possible to narrow down the problem at your end.

We have all LED lights and solved any problems by placing them on a different circuit to the TV inverter (84cm), same with the stereo, that's on a different circuit also.
Have you tried not turning that light on when you want to watch the TV. Like the person who tells his doctor his arm hurts when he lifts it. The doctors advice? "Don't lift it". lol
Turning the bulb around in its socket isn't as silly as it sounds, I had a problem with a LED bulb and the supplier told me to do just that and problem solvered
