Thought politics was taboo. The idiots that we voted out spent YOUR money buying YOUR vote destroyed the countries economy. It will now take prudence to return it to its previous glory. Stupid videos like this are not needed and show total disrespect. By the way, to portray our Prime Minister in the "budgies" continually starts to wear. If you where his age, with his physique then you could throw a stone. The red head "Big A#&e" (said by Germaine Greer) should take a leaf and have started to look the part. Rudd bulked up on YOUR money. Find nothing funny about your humour.

Although the Grey Nomads forum is focussed on issues affecting the grey nomad lifestyle, discussions do sometimes meander into other areas of general interest, particularly in our I Digress section. We do however ask that members avoid discussion of politics and religion as experience has taught us that these issues can lead to bad feeling and this is, above all, a positive forum.

I'm not religious and I'm apolitical. But I do wonder why politics attracts so many people who've had a personality bypass. Hehe.

Your comment dazren showed a lot more prudence and thought than the thread initiator. I welcomed your view and comment but once again the Australia way is to throw the stone without a real look at the problem. Abbot may not be the great orator of past Liberal Prime Ministers but sense comes when we listen to what is said, not how it is said.

I find your umbrage at the "disrespect" shown to Abbott, followed by the description of Gillard as a "Big A#&e" (irrespective of who made the comment initially) to be hypocrisy of the highest magnitude.
