WHINGING PILLS

Lately I have noticed posts on the forum that would have entitled the authors to be given these pills and I am posting this in the hope that potential whingers will be put off from their whining and whinging.

Please feel free to copy and send this message to anyone suspected of whinging.

John

Whingers 001.JPG

                              WHINGERS' PILLS

Specially made to suppress whinges resulting from

the weather, overwork, under payment, spouses, in-laws, the government,

the boss, the employees, the Joneses, also from not being understood,

loved, appreciated, told anything or taken anywhere and a hundred

other justified causes.

DOSAGE: Take two pills at the first sign of a WHINGE

then one every five minutes until smiling occurs.

Just because someone voices a different opinion does not necessarily make them a whinger. disbelief

A person's got to have a whinge.

My Monday to Friday go to whinge is "That coffee truck is late again". Notwithstanding the fact that we have the same coffee machine in the office as we do at home, and it makes great coffee.

We will all be roooooooned, said Hanrahan, in accents most folourn, we will all be roooooned, the cows are in the corn, to quote a famous prophet of Doom.Have seen my fair share of"Hanrahans"in my travels, and all I can say is DON,T WORRY-BE HAPPY.My family motto is Nill ilegitimus Carborundum- which means don,t let the basterds grind you down.In other words ignore idiots, or Hanrahans. G'day Bill, my great Uncle Fr Patrick Joseph Hartigan aka John O'Brien, wrote 'Said Hanrahan' from which you quote......ignore Hanrahans you state........by association am I to be ignored?......if I am, I'll be rooooooooooooooooooooooooned mate.....I suggest in every group there is indeed a Hanrahan, who is always 100% positive about their negativeness........part of our Aussie spirit....and mateship no doubt....Hoo Roo

Yeah. I hear you. But equally, a non whinger could/has turned into whinger thanks to folk hanging their unwanted, unasked for, opinions.

I prefer to live and let live, but I will fight back, when personally attacked. And I speak from experience.

It's a Catch 22.

Reading the dog forum, I'm doomed when I dare to hit the road with 2 big dogs. I'll risk it. Screw what folk think.

Who are they to judge me or my dogs, when they don t know Us or think they do know?

It's a bit like neighbours, be nice or be prepared

Bought my first bottle from a milk bar coffee shop in Stanhope, standing there large as life on the counter for $2. I couldn't help myself and had lots of fun with them around the camp.

The spirit stove is screwed to a counter top and works well, hoping that you are the same. Look forward to catching up soon, will you be bringing the missus?   John

Jules the sentence conjures up a humorous image it is not to be taken literally or dissected.

Perhaps my sense of humour borders on the ridiculous.

I would love to hear more about that spirit stove, whether you think it is better than the portable can type stoves? Fuel usage etc.

Janette the reason I have the spirit stove is because I have no gas certification in the Coaster, but having said that they are incredibly safe with no fuel to spill and no pressure to explode.

I am very happy with it but have no idea about economy, the first fill of metho has not yet run out so expect good running costs.

The brand name is ORIGO 3000 and you will find out more by googling.   John

John,

Thanks for your reply, I've been tempted for a long time and definitely better than gas certification in my book.

Isn't it supposed to be bad for you to suppress all those emotions confuse ?
Go on, have a whinge, or a laugh, or a cry. Whatever mood takes you.
And then tell it to someone who cares! (Most days that won't be me 'cos I'm busy dealin' with my own emotions. LOL)

Opinions are like *'s, everyone has one.   biggrin

If you read Kurt Vonnegut, that will make more sense.
