Progress - the trucks ready at least

Got the truck back today - Smart bar, TJM Snorkel, Clearview Mirrors and FlexiGlass canopy fitted. Hopefully that's all for a bit. Get the first look at the van on Thursday, fingers crossed that it will be almost finished as that's the day we must move out of the house. Anyway, some pics of the modified Mazda attached - the dream is becoming more real with every passing day.

Those Mazdas have come a long way since my old bus rolled off the assembly line. Fine looking specimen there, 2D.

That's an interesting bullbar. Is it alum or plastic? Looks great. Bill

Plastic, Bill. It's called a Smart Bar. Lighter than the metal ones and its supposed to absorb more energy while having a memory so it returns to the original shape after a ding (that Ihope its never going to have :))

In Europe , bullbars are illegal as they are hard on pedestrians. They have this type. They don,t have roving stock and roos like we do.I like the alum ones, myself. Looks great, Bill

We are getting somewhere, not to sure where at the moment confuseconfuseconfuseconfuseconfuse

Settlement on the house on Wednesday - goota be out by 11:00 am - nearly finished the packing. The van's not ready - been some delays but the constructors are being great - they've a small section like a CP on the block  and they're putting in another van that we can stay in until ours is ready. We'll find out the full story on Thursday ... it's like Days of Our life, the story never seems to end.hmmdisbeliefnowink

You have done the right thing by putting on the Clear View Mirrors. They are one of the best accessories that I have put on my Prado.
