Apollo Bay roundabout,

I drive a rear ended diesel pusher and am 36 foot long,

Coming along the great Ocean Road towards Geelong,

ARRRRHHHHHH, Blue Info Booth, That looks great, I will drop in there,

Yes, I can see my Coach can be parked easily along the front of the Info Shop,

Come to the roundabout, Took a good line thru, it has a brick upstand about 750mm high, in the middle,

You have to drive around this, Hahahaha, or take the side out of your vehicle,

Nope, Didnt make it, Thats Bloody Tite, Or take out the sign post with the left mirrors,

Well, No other way, Back it up about 6 feet or so, and have another swing at it,

It just scraped in past the left side mirrors and the rock wall in the centre of the road,

A really big car and Big Caravan, Might have big problems turning right to the Info Booth,

Took me 3 tries to turn right,  back onto the Great Ocean Road,

I am just glad it was mid week and no traffic,

And I guess it won't be the only roundabout like that in the country. Hope you don't meet too many more Mr B2.

Have seen big delivery trucks making "shuffle turns" in Canberra.... you gotta feel sorry for those drivers, they don't have a choice, and city road-builders never consider bigger vehicles.

Brian, can you get a "thingy" on your GPS that tells you where these nightmare roundabouts are?
