Macdonald river, retreat NSW

Hi all, we are currently camped on the macdonald river,retreat.  Just wondering if anybody has fished this river and if so any suggestions for best spots for fishing.  Beautiful day here and plent of water in the river.   Cheers

It is about 21 Kms north off bendemeer on retreat road heading towards KingstownKingstown

I have fond memories of camping by the MacDonald river at Bendemeer. I was 16 at the time. I wonder if it's changed much. I certainly have! I didn't fish while I was there but I did pan for gold and found a few specks.
