Fiamma Awnings.....again!

We have a roll out awning cassette attached to the side of the MH and the problem we have is this; when trying to extract or detract the awning, the right hand side 'drops' and wont go back in or come out. It is about 20mm under where it should be to go back in properly. As a result, when operating it, I have to physically pull the right hand side out and then push it up again when rolling it back in. The left hand side, as a consequence I guess, now doesn't seem to 'lock in' place. When we bought the MH, the dealer noticed this and just greased the right hand side, but that was not the right fix as it is visually too low as it tries to go back in the cassette.

Is there anything I can adjust to lift it up so it meets the cassette opening? Is there something I can tighten? Any help would be appreciated and certainly any diagram or something.....I can try and put a photo on if people don't quite know what I mean...

Cheers,

Paul and Val (On their way to Broken Hill - Cos they can!)

Hi Paul,
Have seen this problem before, this may help you

www.fiamma.com/EN/download/awning_repairing/

Otherwise do a search on Fiamma Awning problems, may come up with more,

And tell us how you fixed the problem.

Peter

Hi Peter, thanks for that link. It has obviously been broken before as tape is all around the roller on the end causing us problems! I'm near Dubbo right now and may take it to B&C Caravans to have a look!
