Thought that I would let readers know that I have copied the above Chamber in on a copy of the Grey nomads artical and the attached comments. Will be interesting to see if there is any response.

I'm sorry, but I have been away and did not see the article.

I presume that they have banned camping near the jetty?

If so, I applaud their decision and hope that a few more councils (including our own) follow suit.

I admit to contacting them when the subject came up and gave a letter of support.

As rate payers we are all entitled to our opinion regarding suitable spots for "free" camping in our local municipalities.

IMO that was definetely not one of them.
