My first visit to Greens in October was also my first meeting of GN's. In my short stay I had such a good time I immediately put in for time off and returned on 16th. It is a pleasure to spend time with such nice people.
I can now understand why one chooses to cut loose from the suburbs and take up this lifestyle, to trade ones suburban neighbours for GN neighbours.
It is now a case of not if......but when.

Cheers
George

Yep, don't leave me behind, I must say also, Greens Lake is one of the most relaxing places to stay. Don't come here though planning a one night stand cos you will be here a week later and I tell you that for free.

Now, having said all that, It is very hard work and I do this willingly to save Dazren and Wombat from having too cos I'm that kind of guy, very helpful.

I must say as well even that I am seriously considering coming out of retirement as when I was at work I at least got the odd weekend off but this Grey Nomad thing is 7 days a week, no public holidays, no overtime and no set morming/afternoon/lunch breaks. Is there a GN Union?

Esmeralda (Helen) who is also here has a job that I said I would do 2 days ago for her and if I can muster up the energy due to this hard life style I will do it by days end today, mmmmm, maybe. IT WILL BE DONE TODAY HELEN.

Phew, I'm buggered and stressed now Jules. Both jobs were done and dusted by 12.00pm so didn't have to go into overtime.

Now what to do for the rest of the day? Oh! I know, I will finish of what I was doing yesterday. NOTHING.

Yeh Doug we got here no probs. it was such a long drive too. Ha ha all the way to Shep. Wasnt sure we could make the distance from Greens to here, but wonders never end.
The park had to let us in the back gate as we didnt fit around their drive. Nice to have the air con though on a hot day. Just been for a nice walk around the lake.
Now i am glad you took my advice and didnt do too much, dont want to work too hard now.

No D and D, it is the committee of the Greens Lake Environment Protection Group. They were discussing 'Logs" and "Tourist Attraction Trees".
