Hows that !!!!!

I had yesterday booked The Lone ranger on dvd,  and thought I'd take my dad for

a bit of a drive, spends most of his time in front of the tv watching it with out the sound.!

Any way so after i picked up the movie, from blockbuster video, you usually have to book

for the weekend as the movies are always taken then..

and usually crap all on tv during the weekends any way... in the summer I hardly watch tv, other than for d

so we went up in my 9 year old mazda 2 , which my mum and dad helped me out with..

any way we went up to our local show ground ,

there is almost always a cricket game or footy game of some sort  on so we sat and

watched it for a while... He used to play cricket and football (the rounded football they call soccer over here!!)

He was telling me of the things the players were doing, or not doing , and telling me his stories etc..

a nice pleasant arvo out. it was Berry Vs Nowra, when we left was 0 for 14...smile

It will be his birthday , 90th on tuesday, melbourne cup day!!

he did very well last year.. so lets hope for  a  good day !!

hope you guys enjoyed this post, something a bit different from me lately

Milo what a lovely day you both had and the memories are priceless... I took my mum on a road trip from Melbourne to Sydney to see 1 sister, then to my son in Maitland, then Brisbane for another sister and then Cooroy (Sunshine coast), for the rest of her siblings. And same visits on the way home.

It was the last time she saw them as she died fairly suddenly 4mths later and I so loved that time I spent with her in the car chatting and laughing for almost 3 weeks.

So the memories you can create are with you forever.

I wish your dad a very Happy Birthday for Tuesday have a bet on his favorite number smilesmilesmilesmilesmile

What Kaid said is so very true... making memories. That's how you get 'em.
