Got the new sensor (TPS) fitted to the injector pump this afternoon, and had auto trans serviced. All was well with no foreign bodies in bottom of the oil pan,
and the filter was nice and clean.
I was so lucky to get it done. Was supposed to be 1st thing this morning, but he had some urgent jobs in and didn't get started till 3pm. and didn't finish till 6.30.
He is the only Auto Trans and Gas installer in town.
Had me driving while he had the laptop on his knees adjusting the settings. All the gear changes are nice and smooth, with lock up in 3rd and 4th.
I can't recommend Bruce and Steve Autos Port Augusta highly enough.
So it's pack up in the morning and head for Melbourne for the 2nd time.

You would be one happy chappy, I do believe I know how you feel when your toy was not right and then needed that something else, that small thing. My disco was causing us some grief after we had spent a bundle on the auto thinking that would fix it.
Weeks latter it turned out to be a exhaust sensor. Car do test you at times.
