I have collected tea towels for years.  They are all in use now, and I still buy them...  When in a caravan permanently, there is not much else you can collect.

We used to collect window stickers for the back of the car or caravan, but they look unsightly when they are starting to peel.

I like collecting spoons, I have a few favourites. I also collect, postcards and lots of photos. One day I will organise them all into albums for the grandkids....one day.

Hehe... stone chips. Nice one, Olley. Photos for me. I had a friend once. We were on a beach when I picked up a smooth stone and said, "This stone will always remind me of this day, and you." I still have the stone but I'm buggered if I can remember who the friend was.

Me, too.

Unfortunately, as the saying goes, friends come and go, but enemies accumulate.

Or should that be

We seem to be collecting stone chips.
Had one fixed last week on our return from Dubbo.
When I asked the racq glass repairer if it was still possible
To get a stone guard for the windscreen. I was told they are now illegal

Even though ours have faded a bit, I love it, when drying the dishes, looking at the latest clean towel, and saying to Mr D, "remember the day when....."

Have thrown a few out, and replace a few.

I had forgotten about tea towels, my folks used to collect them and I think I might pick up some on the trail too.

Hat pins - just what is a hat pin? Are they decorative badges?
Over the years we seem to collect cats too, down to 2 now thank goodness.

I'm going to lie down now.

Yes cloak. Hat Pins, Decorative Pins. I think there is another name for them as well.
Most towns will sell them with their name on and a picture that references that town. They should be called Tourist Pins.

Now what you needed was a real hatpin. I have one, a pin about 6" long that goes thru the hat, then thru your hair (if you have any) and back out thru the hat to keep it on your head on a windy day! Plus I suppose it could double as a self-defense itembiggrinbiggrin
