Hi all, Just a quick note to let you know that I have changed the forum slightly so that the first forum section is ‘Read forum rules and introduce yourself’.I hope it becomes a more natural starting place for ‘newbies’ to, firstly read the forum rules, and then to tell us all a little bit about themselves. Hopefully, all you friendly forum ‘veterans’ will also be happy to pop in and give newcomers our traditional warm welcome. I am hoping that this will also ‘free up’ the general forum for the continued exchange of information and advice about the on-the-road lifestyle. As the forum continues to grow (hooray!) is it clear that we need to do as much as we can to ensure that the different sorts of ‘forumites’ are able to easily find what they are looking for ... whether it be technical info in ‘Techies Corner’, a campfire recipe in ‘What’s Cooking’, or a bit of friendly banter in ‘I Digress’ ... or something else entirely in one of the many other sections that have grown. Thank you all for helping to make this work so well. I can see that all of the sections are extremely active which shows that they are being used by people who are seeking that specific sort of information. Thanks everyone. I have moved a couple of the most recent ‘newbie introductions’ from the General Forum into the new section to get the ball rolling. Thanks for your understanding.

Positive thinking..I think I skipped this process but see the good side of it..I had a personal welcoming committee at greens that worked great for me..no back slapping they know who they all are..my thx to all for the welcome.....cya
That's a great idea Cindy. Especially relevant to reading the rules when we first join.
Now will be easier to find the newbies and welcome them aboard when they introduce themselves.
All=though I read the forum every day I tend to miss a lot of the newbie Intros..This idea of having them in the rules and introduction section is so much easier .Thanks Cindy.
