why is it vehicle manufacturers never make a sun visor that when pulled into the side window always leaves about 75 to 100mm gap so when driving as the sun goes down you always get the sun through the gap really annoys me my daughter has a hyundai and the visor has an insert that pulls across the gap so why dont all vehicle makers do this simple thing, have to make my own i spose

Got me beat too Neil, on my last trip around the block I made one up out of cardboard as there was a lot of driving long distances into the sun. I've seen the one you're talking about and they are great!

The current KIA's also have the pull-out visor extenders - can be used either in front to block the sun above the rear vision mirror, or to block the sun from the side window. Never had them in any previous car - a really great idea.

I bought a clip on extendable sun visor I could see through if need be as I regularly had to drive due west into a setting sun and I'm a bit short in the drivers seat. Wonder where it went? I could still use it as a passenger.
