Majic Mystery Tour

Photo271.jpgIcallmine "Bitchen Betty" as it talks with an American female voice which I quickly got sick of and turned off.Am at TwinBridges , right beside the Brisbane river. Lots of garbage about, which I will attempt to clean up, but a beautiful river.Have put the bait traps in , so will have a cuppa, and perhaps drown a prawn. Will put the tinnie in later. Here's apic of the two bridges.I am 5klm nth of Fernvale.

Have you ever had your gps lead you astay? I left my sisters place at Pomona, QLD, to go up the Brisbane river valley , to do some Bass fishing , and following the prompts on my gps, ended up on dirt roads in the state forest west of Beerburrum in the fog!I know I haven't upgrade my map data, but these things can be a pain at times. At least the speed is accurate as my speedo is up to 15% out.At Kilcoy having breakfast now, but will go to Fernavale, and Twin Bridges tonight.Good Australian bass fishing there, or so I have been told. Will post some pics, later. What are your views? Thanks, Bill

You possibly missed the best fishing spot you have ever been to.
GPS are designed to show you good spots you normally would not go to LOL.
Hope the fish are biting and the fridge keeps you beer cold.
Regards
Brian

If you need some fresh meat and or Bread, visit the Ferndale Butcher and the baker shop, (not the cafe)  Bakers Pies are top class too.

enjoy

Looks a good spot Bill it's pity that other don't appreciate the area like we do, why they have to leave their rubbish about get's on my goat. Enjoy and hope you catch a few.

If I'd known you were that close Bill, I would have come out for a drive today.

I can understand that Bill. Hopefully my health issues will be back on track by Feb, or preferably before then.

Safe travels.

A funny to start with - Definition of GPS - the only female voice a man will listen too!
Now before I get boo'd off stage, we call our GPS Gemma, cause it guides us pretty well like the Station dog named Gemma did on Mt Elizabeth Station back in 2007 on a station home paddock walk. She did it so well and intelligently.
We do realize that our general GPS unit is city centric mapped, we also use good old paper maps as the main stay how ever when out back. So when we enter co-ordinates we may well follow the cursor across a blank screen to the destination flag. We did that once after being told by the GPS that we had entered an 'Unreachable Destination', however when we reached the destination we were the told we had reached it - so we have reached the unreachable!
Cheers
