Gday  all well our new van aircon says Current Cosumption  cooling 4.2 amps , heating 3.7 amps Start up Current 28 amps (150ms)

Cooling power 2.4 kw heating power 1.7 kw But I can assure you our new honda invertor generator 20 eui does the job easy.

Thankyou Dorian  for youre knowledge and input on this subject. It is so much lighter and cheaper than the honda 3kva
