Hi all after spending the afternoon cleaning THE JAYCO (wife Christine friends Vicki & Les OH and me) are ready for our first interstate caravaning trip but as all good nomade we have not planned where to stay our first night so I looking for info on free camping spots either Holbrook or Albury Wadonga . As we are traveling in pairs we are game enough to try this type of holidaying out. If you see a BRIGHT RED Navara towing a Jayco poptop please say hello to us , as we all still have to 9 to 5 it we are only part time nomading
Firstly i would like give you a big welcome to the forum Bobstar52, you will find many answers to all of the questions that you might be asking.
In our bible (camps book 6 or 7) you will find many camps or places to stay n it , there 2 camps between Albury and Hoolbrook.
1st one is at Mullengandra rest area and the other is Bowna rest area about 30k north east of Aulbury, the second one is beside the Mullengandra Creek, i hope this has helped you out a bit .
Hi Bobstar52 and welcome also......the message is buy yourself a copy of Camps 7 (latest issue) & try not to "bug us" too much & you should find it a great lifestyle.

Wikicamps is even better, in my opinion. Download it to your phone or iPad. It is worth the few bucks it costs.
Has people's comments and pictures of the stops.
Hi
We stayed last night at Jugiong on the Hume Highway, just north of Gundagai... Gold coin donation, huge area , level, hot showers, clean toilets, pub across the road, wonderful bakery. River side, lots of birds, dog friendly.... Heaven on a stick really!!
we are off to melbourne in the next day or two so those camp spots have been writen in the book we have the camps book but word of mouth is a good recommendation as we have found some great spots that aren't in the book or they have been changed . I updated my book on the web site before we left on the big lap which is alot of work but invaluable when planning the trip.
