Meet up with ParamountCruiser

Just spent a couple of days camped with ParamountCruiser at Lucky Bay campsite in Cape Le Grande NP.  We had the best spot in the campsite, with views over the bay, and a picnic table where we shared a couple of happy hours with another couple of (non forumite) grey nomads.

Good to meet them all, and all the best to ParamountCruiser on your trip back to the east.

It was great to catch up with you, always good to put faces to names. Yes Cape Le Grande is a magic place to which we will return one day.

Any word yet on when the harvest starts ?

We are in Eucla tonight. It was extremely hot (40c) when we arrived but shortly after a change went through and dropped the temp by about 15°.

Certainly is a lovely spot. We were fortunate to spend 6 weeks there once as volunteers with National Parks. pay was lousy but the views were good.

Don't you just love this weather.  After a near perfect week at Lucky Bay, today is cold, miserable and wet.  Again!

Everytime it rains, it puts back the harvest by a few days. We are hoping for a start around 28th

What a bummer.

Now in Ceduna and it has been blowing an absolute gale for the past 4 hours or so.

Just goes to prove it isn't just WA that is windy.
