A BAD CRASH;

At the Iluka /pacific hwy T- intersection this morning, According to TV news a 4x4 tug & van, looks like they pulled out in front of a milk tanker which inturn hit another heavy vehicle. Tug & van burnt to the ground, owners walked away ok.

Thank goodness the owners are ok - pity the poor milk tanker driver and the other vehicle!!!!

Please, everyone, take care out there!!!!!!! Err on the side of caution - if in doubt, stay put!

A bad intersection. A family member had an accident there and his partner was killed.

Gday...

That is incredibly lucky. It seems they were possibly approaching the intersection a little quick, braked on the wet road and slid out of control, getting clipped by the tanker.

In case others had trouble getting the NBN link to work, see if this helps -

The claim is oil on the road was responsible, looks more like failing to drive to road conditions to me (too fast into the intersection)

The police report and the tanker driver both said the van driver was NOT driving beyond conditions.

Wondering if the two responders on the NBN News website (Garth and Renae) are now working on their apologies to Brad (the driver of the rig) after his explanation of the circumstances.
