Yeah, I'd go down the road of Fairwork Australia. It is surprising what employers think they can get away with. Leave with a legacy, a Fairwork Australia investigation. It may take time and if you have kept reasonable records, it will make their job easier.

Welcome DD. I can tell by your posts that you are going to fit right in.

I too have a tale about a boss who didn't pay me when I stepped in to fill a "vacancy" on the farm. He still owes me!!

G'day Done Dreaming, I picked up immediately you were your own worse boss working for your employees and not yourself.....been there and done it...they get the holidays, super, leave loading etc etc and you get to carry on/hold the fort in their absence....
I'ts only after you cease the year in year out juggling act, that you realize how futile it all was, and quite often during the best/healthiest days of your life...
Good luck, will follow your progress with interest....I've never looked back since closing the doors on my business....Hoo Roo

I know the feeling mate, I worked a 60 hour week for the same boss for 46 years and had only 8 to 10 days a year for holidays at Christmas with only every 2nd Sunday and Monday off, no loading, no overtime and no long service leave and what's more, the bloke was an absolute b*stard who didn't even give me a gift on retiring!!!

I would have sued the b*stard but it appears that you can't sue yourself...I was the bloody employer! biggrin

Welcome the wonderful world of travelling and retirement, you have earned it.
