I am posting in I digress as this is not the first meet up.
I decided to go for a drive today so headed northward bound, checked out a few beaches and a few tracks of the beaten track and ended up spending the afternoon with "Copper1" and Mrs Copper1, Garry and Roxanne. I met these two great people last Friday here in Batemans Bay.
Another great afternoon in great company, Garry decided he was going to try and compete with "Kiwi-as" and cooked up a batch of scones in his Baby Q. Now I'm not 100% sure but I reckon Garry secretly goes to CWA meetings as the recipe was a CWA one he claimed he got from somewhere but couldn't remember. Don't tell him I told you though.
One things for sure, he really knows how to cook scones and I tell you that for free.
Close Mr Kiwi, very close but I'm saying which way
Thanks Garry and Roxanne for another great afternoon, time went way too fast.
Edit....iPad again, silly keypad.

On the way up GD I went through some thick smoke as there is still a fire going further in land and the wind was blowing from that way, no worries though.

Way, Way, Way to short of a day Dougwe I think we could have talked for hours, so another lunch will have to be on the Menu before you head southbound!!! By the looks of it though you found your way home via the beach and I did not have to send out the Search & Rescue Squad.
Well Dougwe, it goes without saying, we will have to organise a scone bake off, say at Greens Lake, one day just have to line up the contestants, date, time, Oh and the judges I'm sure we will get volunteers.

Dougwe you said you weren't going north and that's at least twice! Is that because you don't know anyone south?
Too many lunches and afternoon teas me thinks.
I don't go to CWA meetings, but I do have one of the original Coronation cookbooks. What I don't have at the mo is teeth, so if anyone knows how to make scone soup...
