Goomalling this Saturday 19 October

Any going to be around this weekend. We will be there for the day. Haven't had a chance to see the entry list as yet but generally a good mix of historic  cars. The local fair/show is on the same day. Should be a good day.

I will be having fun as I am working with the car section of the day. Phil on the other hand is on grandparent duties so he gets 2 kids for the day and gets to take them to the fair and buy showbags and rides etc. We have had the kids since the start of the school holidays and get to hand them back sunday afternoon!! Think Phil has the time down to minutes till they go home!!

Despite the crap weather on the coast around Perth yesterday, the day was overcast but dry at Goomalling. Here are some of the photos 9 yr old Luke took (before he found the bouncy castle and playground!!)

I was doing admin work all morning then timing in the afternoon so Luke got the camera out of the car and took photos then told me on the way home.
Our youngest contestant was 14 yrs old and the oldest was in his 80's( in his little midget that he used to race in his younger days!!) For those into motor racing the ute is Grant Johnsons V8 ute that he won the Ute Championship in a couple of years ago. And he didn't win the day pipped at the post by the little yellow 41)
