SLR Adventurer 4x4

Hello

Does anyone out there have an SLR Adventurer?

http://www.slrcaravans.com.au/INDEX.html

We have one on order and plan to be out doing wonderful things by about march next year.  I would be really interested to know if other folks have any experience of this fab. vehicle.

 Sally

LOL, likewise.

They should have had them for those mud brick houses somewhere, that the 5.56 doesn't go through.

I had a SMLE No4Mk1. Replaced with a Sportco Omark .308 heavy barrel. Replaced by a Remington 700 .308 heavy barrel. All were better than I ever was.

.308 is brilliant. But the cartridge is so fat and boring. The .303 looked the part and then there were all of the joyous years of military surplus ammunition. Ah, the smell of cordite, all day, not just in the morning.

Newgale,

Apologies for the short diversion down a side track.

That vehicle would be a blast to own.

If you don't mind saying, what is the ball park figure to own one?

I don't really know, but new the figure around $200K comes to mind. Rugged 4 x 4 trucks are exxy.
