Back a few weeks I posted about silkworms, well they're pretty advanced right now and will probably spin their cocoons in a week or two. One of the grand daughters, Freya, loves silkworms almost as much as she loves mulberries and believes in trying what the silkworms love. Her Mum is pretty pleased that mulberry stain washes out because it ends up everywhere.
Anyway, thought I'd share a pic of the silkworms and Freya.
Freya would live on mulberries alone if she could Jules, although one time she came back from the tree crying - so happened that there was one of those green stink beetles attached to a mulberry and naturally she gulped it down. Next day back up to the tree for more. Talk about purple poops! Sometimes we put a sheet under the tree to catch the fruit and give it a shake - you can fill a bucket in no time. Add milk and sugar in a bowl and they're almost as good as blackberries.
Billeee...how does that chick run with high heels (and silk stockings?)
