New Member - Some of my travel photos

Hi PamBaz

I have a few cameras mostly Nikon main reason is because all my lenses fit all Nikon bodies. . These photos were taken with a Nikon D300 with a 18-200mm lens.. They have been edited a bit other that they are pretty well straight out of the camera.

The photo of the Old house is in the second last photo Titled "Gippsland"

Kevin

I will add some more tomorrow night of Great Ocean Road, Geelong and surrounds

Far from being straight out of the camera, these shots have been heavily Photo Shopped, in fact the look to me as if they have had some sort of HDR process applied.

I also have Nikon gear, it's not the brand of gear you use but how you use it, most images from any decent digital SLR can be manipulated to produce results like this;

Good day Kevieboy; some of your pics are quite spectacular landscapes. I'm inclined to agree with Santa that a deal of HDR is involved.

Would you care to share a tip or two about the way you reach the results in your good work?

I especially like the farmyard shot with the dirt track leading through it. Fabulous colors and great composition.

Beautiful photos, I love them all, makes me want to be there, you certainly know how to tell a story through your camera.
