hi just wondering how i go about making our table into one of those 3 fold tables ,ours folds once approx 250 mm from the wall the remainder of the table is approx 700mm ,has spring catches pulled out to become the brace to hold it up ,wondering where to cut this larger section to fit the other hinges , i have seen them with a piano hinge then the second i am not sure what type of hinge ,and then a leg to stabilize it ,ours is approx 500mm wide and is between our recliners ,is there a formual as to where to cut the pivot points ,i am not sure , would appreciate any advice , might just go shopping for a new van and find one and measure it up

A friend of ours in Adelaide has just had it done, He found the best person to do it was a chippy. He checked with a Jayco but wanted something different. The end result looks really good.

Rus's chippy used a sliding hinge on the wall end so that the table could be slide to either side for ease of access by larger people and piano hinges in the folds. The one near the wall sticks up a little but is not a problem considering the advantages he's gained.
