Dining Table Wobbles - Fix Needed

Dining Table has the Wobbles - Wineglass type base - 8 YO in Jayco Heritage - I have had the base sandblasted & powder coated.

Now the leg to base is just a tad loose so the table top at the ends ends can move up & down quite a bit. We do need to keep the rotation.

I think the easy answer is to shim the leg & nip up the clamping bolt and slacken the top clamping bolt ( top to leg) to still allow the top to rotate.

I reckon there will still be some wobble buy much less. Has anyone done this - does it work as I expect ?

The current wobble is always there, not just after a glass or so of red no for those who may wonder

TIA

UPO - Richard

I gave up on mine - took it out completely and now use a Bunnings fold-up leg one that is so easy to move! Perfect size too.
