Just been to the above show and have noticed a number of caravans are using Dexter Torflex suspensions. They apparently are made in the good old US of A. Does any one have any comments good or bad about them.
The Torflex is reasonably popular in the US but never made much inroad hear. In my opinion the ALKO IRS is a far superior. While the two systems are similar in construction, the ALKO is more robust. Ozjohn.

I've forgot most with the Torflex system, however, I do remember seeing a Elite Caravan with the system on one of their vans.
ALKO has three compaction rubbers as opposed to four with the Torflex. The ALKO system has been around for decades. I suspect any problems should be ironed out by now. The Torflex system has a five year warranty suggesting it cannot be all bad.
